You are thoroughly listened to and then she applies her magic and it’s like your body has also been listened to. I can’t tell you how special this feels.
If you are looking for a massage therapist who is highly skilled and experienced, Jan is the perfect choice. She offers a wide range of treatments to suit your individual needs, and she is committed to providing you with the best possible care.
Jan is a highly experienced massage therapist and myofascial practitioner. She has been practicing since the early 1990s, and has studied in America, India, and London. She specializes in myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy.
Jan has studied five times with John Barnes, one of the world's leading experts in myofascial release. She is one of only a handful of therapists to have traveled to the USA to study with him at an advanced level. Jan regularly attends courses and workshops focusing on different aspects of treatment, such as RSI or using massage to help people who are suffering with CFS, ME, or Long Covid.
In 2014, Jan spent the winter in India studying Ayurvedic massage and how it benefits everyone. She returns every year to see her teacher in India.
Jan currently practices from her home in Worthing, which has easy parking outside.

Bringing balance and movement back into your life
Working specifically into aches and pains
Deep tissue massage has benefits for both your physical and mental health. Massage has numerous benefits making it an an easy way to relax and treat your medical issues.
Deep tissue massages is used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions (the “knots” that we feel in our muscles ). These knots may inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.
Massage is widely accepted as both a tool for relaxation and stress relief and also to alleviate pain, treat arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression, among other conditions.
Treating restrictions in your body
Myofascial treatments tend to be very slow and work gently into areas of restriction allowing the fascia to relax and the restrictions to ease.
Myofascial Release treats fascial restrictions in the body. Every cell, every bone and every organ is covered in fascia, if the fascia is restricted in the body there will be tightness.
Myofascial release truly treats the whole body ( both the emotional and physical). Using sustained pressure to eliminate restrictions and restore motion. It helps those suffering from restrictions or tightness anywhere in the body and the trauma related to it .
